How to Send Us Your Work: We accept submissions through email only. Your submission must be in one of the following file forms: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .png, .jpg, .mp3, .mp4, and .mov.
 

Timing: Submissions may be sent to us at any time, year-round.
 

Simultaneous Submissions: We accept simultaneous submissions, since we feel that it’s unreasonable to expect contributors to give a website an exclusive look at a work unless the website can respond within two to three weeks. We want contributors to have every possible opportunity for success, so we’re willing to risk losing a story we want when someone at another magazine may have done their reading before we have, and in that case we’ll be sorry to lose the piece but happy for the contributor.
 

Response Time: Our response time varies from four to twelve weeks, with the slowest times usually being August/September and December/January.
 

Submission Fees: $0
 

Payment to Authors: At this time we can't pay contributors since this is run entirely by one person in their free time, but as soon as (or if) we receive donations, 50% will be going toward paying contributors. The other 50% will be going to materials for Old Crow Hill. 
 

Word Count Guidelines:

FICTION/NON-FICTION manuscripts must be at less than 5000 words.

FILMS must be less than 5 minutes.

 

VISUAL ARTISTS can send up to 10 pieces.

 

MUSICIANS should include one song per submission.
